Craig met with the Latvian Ambassador HE Ivita Burmistre and MP Rihards Kols, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Latvian Parliament in his capacity as Chair of the APPG on Latvia.
Back to Parliament this week and this morning I hosted my first event of the year, where it was fantastic to welcome well known (and prolific!)local campaigner from the National Federation of the Blind, Sarah Gayton.
Great news that Bedworth Civic Hall CIC have made a successful application to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to have the Civic Hall and Library listed as an Asset of Community Value. This status has been granted as of 11th January 2023.
Craig is delighted to have been appointed Vice Chair of the Conservative Party with responsibility for Local Government campaigns, working alongside our fantastic Chair Nadhim Zahawi to help our amazing Councillors & candidates across the country keep delivering for their local areas.
Craig was luckily drawn out in PMQs today. He took the opportunity to raise the fantastic "Pitching In" campaign that he was involved in recently which promotes grassroots sport and celebrates the volunteers who turn up week in week out to make it happen.
Craig attended a meeting today with the new HS2 Minister, Huw Merriman, having been the first MP to secure one with him following his recent appointment.
