Craig Tracey, MP for Bedworth and Marcus Jones, MP for Nuneaton, have together organised a Jobs Fair for local residents on Friday 21st October. The event will take place in one of Bedworth’s iconic local landmarks, The Old Meeting URC Church, Leicester Street from 10am to 3pm.
The event is open to all job seekers in the area offering job opportunities, new career paths, apprenticeships and seasonal work.
Craig Tracey MP commented:
“Following on from a successful Jobs Fair in Atherstone last Friday where over 200 residents attended looking for new opportunities, I am delighted to be hosting another one this time with my colleague Marcus Jones. I am determined to promote and help to create as many local jobs as possible, job security is so important for every local family.”
Marcus Jones MP said:
“I am very pleased to be co-organising another local jobs fair which have been so successful and well attended in the past. There will again be a real mix of public and private sector employers attending so this is a very good opportunity for local people of all ages to come along and talk directly to potential new employers.”
A large number of local companies have signed up to attend the event including the Post Office, Horiba-Mira, Brose, Aldi and National Express. There will be many exciting, genuine job opportunities on offer to those who are either out of work or looking to take their next step on the career ladder.
Prospects and Bedworth Citizen’s Advice Bureau will also be at the event to support residents seeking work.
No appointment is needed to attend the Jobs Fair, residents can pop into the Old Meeting URC Church at any time from 10am to 3pm on the day.
