The Wolferstan Arms in Shuttington is holding a charity bike ride event in support of Help for Heroes next week.
Fundraisers will riding for a total of 24 hours to raise money for the charity which provide support to former members of the armed forces.
North Warwickshire & Bedworth MP Craig Tracey and his wife Karen, who served in the RAF, will be joining fundraisers at his local pub.
Craig commented:
"This is such a worthy cause and a great idea to challenge the fundraisers. Karen will be doing the final session in her RAF Uniform on Tuesday (6th September) evening from 6pm.
"The Wolferstan arms are looking for as many residents as possible to come to the pub to support and sponsor the 24 hour bike ride."
Organisers are hoping for a strong turn out from the community and beyond to help the cause.
Pub Landlord Darren McCraken said:
"As part of a nationwide campaign by Marstons to raise money for help for heroes the team at the Wolferstan decided to really push ourselves with a 24hr bike marathon. It was something we could get the whole community behind and helpfully we can raise plenty of money along the way for such a great cause"
The charity event takes place from time day date September and all are welcome.
