Craig was pleased to see that North Warwickshire Borough Council is one of 26 authorities that has been awarded a share of the Government's "Fly-Tipping Intervention Grant"
This is an issue that Craig has raised repeatedly in Parliament on a number of occasions, including a recent DEFRA Departmental Questions.
Minster Robbie Moore MP wrote to advise of the funding this weekend which will be used for advanced detection capability and awareness campaigns in the Borough.
The previous round of this scheme has had very positive results with some councils seeing a complete erosion of the issue at previous hotspots. Will be monitoring the progress closely.
Craig is also working with local police on other interventions that they have advised would be helpful deterrents and in cutting down further on awful crime.
