On Friday 24th November Craig Tracey MP was down on the farm in Hurley to cut the ribbon at the first ever Christmas Experience at Lucky Tails Alpaca Farm on Dexter Lane. The Experience is a Christmas journey for all ages with the opportunity to meet the friendly alpacas and enjoy the festive atmosphere on the farm.
Lasting around one hour, festive visitors will get to learn more about the animals from Alpaca expert and owner, Sarah Booth, then take them for a stroll to see the life size nativity scene, feed the alpacas and pigmy goats and see all the other animals on the farm which include a new baby pig and even a couple of emus!
After the Christmas stroll, children will get to meet Santa in his grotto and receive their special present. Visitors can then take photos with the alpacas, with hot food and drink also available throughout the experience.
North Warwickshire and Bedworth’s MP Craig Tracey said “It was a real honour to be invited to cut the ribbon for the first tour. I have worked with Sarah and Stuart over the last few years and it is fantastic to see how their business has grown. Everyone had a great time and I know both adults and children alike will really enjoy themselves visiting the Christmas Experience”.
Lucky Tails owner, Sarah Booth added “We at Lucky tails breed showing winning alpacas, and have always enjoyed inviting visitors onto the farm 3 days a week to learn about and walk these enchanting animals. This Christmas experience is a festive way of doing the same thing with a few extra surprises. It has been carefully organised to appeal to families with children and adults without. We are confident this interactive experience will be one of the highlights of everyone’s Christmas." "
The Christmas Experience will be running until 31st December, every Tuesday to Friday at 6pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm and 3.30pm. Parking is free - more information and booking details are available at: www.luckytailsalpacafarm.co.uk/christmas
