Craigs run of questions continues with his final Question of the week in Department of Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs.
Craig raised that Village Halls are key assets in many communities and are usually run by small dedicated teams of volunteers. They are not, however, cheap to keep open and so asked the Minister whether more straight forward funding streams could be made available.
It was great to hear that the platinum jubilee village hall fund will provide support they need to modernise and upgrade. There is also a grant to support action with Communities in Rural England to provide advice, including on other sources of funding.
