Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire and Bedworth Craig Tracey believes Jeremy Corbyn’s policy on defence would severely compromise the security of the UK.
At the weekend Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn stated that if he were to win the upcoming General Election and become Prime Minister he would dismantle Britain’s Nuclear Defences and refused to say that he would authorise drone strikes on ISIS Terrorists.
Mr Tracey criticised Labour’s position stating:
“It is incredible to think that one of the two choices to be the next Prime Minister is advocating the removal of our Nuclear Deterrent – particularly given the current security situation around the globe with threats from Putin, North Korea and ISIS. We live in an uncertain world and the Government’s main responsibility is to protect its citizens. It is no exaggeration to say that Mr Corbyn is frankly a danger to national security.
“A Prime Minister who is unwilling to take the important decisions when national security is under threat is no use to anyone. Clearly only Theresa May is the strong leader that the UK needs and that our Armed Forces deserve.”
