•       After a successful Jobs Fair in Atherstone offering lots of opportunities to local people with regional businesses I am delighted to say that my next Jobs Fair will be hosted together with Marcus Jones MP in Bedworth.

Summer is here

Summer has finally arrived, although many of us will be complaining that the heat wave is too hot!July and August usually hold many exciting community events in North Warwickshire & Bedworth that I really enjoy attending.

The Prime Minister has just announced he will step down in October following the EU Referendum result and I want to start by paying tribute to David Cameron, we were on different sides of the EU debate but I have always believed in him as leader of our country and my party.

Local unemployment falls again and funding for potholes

I am delighted with the latest figures showing that unemployment levels in North Warwickshire & Bedworth have fallen again – it is lower than both last month and also this time last year. The unemployment figure has dropped by 22 from February, which is really important - 22 more people in work, 22 more families benefiting from the security of a job. 

National Living Wage is launched

April marks the start of a new financial year and means good news for workers as it is also the beginning of the National Living Wage.

Why I will be voting to leave the European Union

This week much of the media’s focus has been on what side politicians are taking in the upcoming June referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU. Whilst ultimately it is the people who will decide, not the politicians, which is only right, as North Warwickshire & Bedworth’s elected representative, I feel I should explain my position.
