Campaign Responses

Craig Tracey MP

I receive hundreds of campaign emails every week from constituents with concerns on a variety of national topics.

Individually written enquiries will receive a written letter or email response from me. Those that are automatically generated and identically worded will be responded to via this page.

The campaign list (to the left of this page) is in alphabetical order. Alternatively, you can press 'CTRL' and 'F' on your keyboard to search for a key phrase or word. If my response to your campaign is not currently published, please do check back at a later date or get in touch with me. The responses to campaigns listed below are all from 2021.

NB: I must inform you that, like many MPs, I do not sign Early Day Motions (EDMs).

Storm Overflows

Thank you for contacting me about the storm overflows Lord's amendment that was voted on in Parliament recently, as part of the Environment Bill.

Pig Husbandry (Farrowing) Bill

Thank you for contacting me about the Pig Husbandry (Farrowing) Bill and welfare of pigs in farms.

Gay Conversion Therapy

Thank you for contacting me about banning gay conversion therapy.

Fire and Rehire Tactics

I have fed concerns received on this issue directly in to Ministerial colleagues, although I know they are aware of how the situation has escalated particularly for British Gas, British Airways and Centrica employees.

Fur Trade

As someone who supports the highest standards of animal welfare I am pleased to note that the importation of fur products is tightly regulated. It is illegal to import furs derived from cats or dogs, or products made from them.

Trophy Hunting

Thank you for contacting me regarding Early Day Motion (EDM) 50 on trophy hunting.

Assisted Dying

As you may know, assisted dying has previously been debated in Parliament, with a Bill being brought forward and I have to say that it was one of the most powerful debates that I have been involved in during my time here.

It's Time to Stand for The Trees and Re-Think HS2

As a North Warwickshire resident, I have been campaigning against HS2 since 2009, long before I was elected as an MP in 2015.  One of my key concerns about the project is the environmental devastation that it will bring along the route, particularly to our local area.
